Custom "Mutant H" Hole Die Set for Sheet Metal Fabricator

The Challenge

We received an inquiry from a client in the sheet metal processing industry. He asked if we could manufacture a custom die set to punch a very specific, non-standard hole. The hole was not round, nor was it a standard square; it was a unique shape resembling a mutated "H." This custom die needed to be fully compatible with his existing JETECO Tools brand hydraulic hole punching machine. The task was to produce approximately 20 of these complex holes in 3mm thick carbon steel plates.
